Nearing the end of our time in France. Most or picture are on our camera since our tablet has been running on low battery, and we've been out of luck with Wifi at our campgrounds in Provence so haven't been able to update the blog. But here are a few highlights in the last few days.
1. The lavender fields of Provence. . . they happened to be in full bloom as we passed by. We found out, from the first Canadian cycle tourists we met so far, that the bloom was early this year so we were lucky. The smell was amazing; the heat was overwhelming.
2. The small rural road we we cycling on. . . With a view of things to come in the background. What you don't see are the thermal quivers.
3. Moustiers St. Marie - the beautifully village we stayed in before entering the Canyon of Verdon- the biggest and deepest gorge in Europe I've been told. Meet two fantastic Dutch groups on either side of us while having dinner.
